Our client is an investment adviser with over $20 billion in AUM focused on investing in global credit and special situations. The Software Engineer will join the core development team and will be responsible for building in-house systems along with integrating and customizing third-party applications critical to the operation of the firm.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, document, and test the firm’s custom .NET straight-through processing trade platform, portfolio management platform, as well as other business-critical .NET platform functions – including research, pricing, financing, trade settlement, compliance, diagnostic, and workflow modules
• Develop, support, document, and test custom integrations for third-party platforms such as Unit4 Agresso, SharePoint, and IntegriData
• Write well organized and thought-out documentation using Confluence
• Identify performance bottlenecks and system bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Work directly with the project management and business teams to translate application requirements into functional applications
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science required
• 3-8 years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Java or C# development
• Experience developing SQL and stored procedures
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell a plus
• Experience with DevOps, C/I, and GIT a plus
  
  

Salary Range

$100,000-$150,000
