This team of world-class software development engineers is responsible for shaping the future of internal engineering across Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT). We build innovative and secure technologies at scale to ensure AFT services remain secure and scalable from launch.

As a software development engineer on this team, you will leverage modern technologies and AWS services to enhance the productivity of AFT service teams. You are a developer who enjoys delivering software solutions that solve business challenges while improving efficiency and productivity. Experience with technologies like AWS & Java are required to start.

AFT service teams invest significant time and effort in developing, maintaining, and improving their software. As a result, the cost of offering new software as a managed service is often substantially higher than simply creating the software itself. This team s mission is to centralize this work into a single product, reducing the cost and complexity for AWS teams development teams.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Must have Java & AWS Infrastructure Experience. Minimum 4 years.
