Software Engineer

Duration: 6 month contract + extensions

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days onsite (Tues-Thurs onsite)

Insight Global is looking for a LLM Software Automation Engineer to join one of our largest tech clients in the Bay Area to craft solutions that streamline documentation, customer support, and CRM analytics processes.

This person will be responsible for:

• Developing and deploying software to optimize internal processes in documentation and support.
• Writing modular, reusable code and ensuring high-quality, timely project delivery.
• Applying containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and REST APIs to build scalable solutions.
• Conducting detailed data analytics to provide actionable insights using descriptive through prescriptive methodologies.
• Implementing NLP techniques (clustering, fine-tuning, few-shot learning) to extract insights from textual data.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Bringing to bear expert-level prompting and integration with LLMs and AI coding assistance tools for accelerated development.

Desired Skillset:

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent experience.
• Ability to come onsite at least three times a week
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer automating processes in Python (FAST API, Panda)
• Proficient in Docker or Kubernetes
• 1+ years of experience with LLM or vibe coding
• Prior experience developing high volume CRMs (Sales Force, Oracle, etc.)
• NLP experience
