System Test Automation Engineer

Job Title: System Test Automation Engineer – Operations

Location: Cupertino, CA Onsite (Factory Environment)

Duration: 12 months

Location: Bill Rate: $65/hr.- $70/hr. on W-2

Note: This position is only available to candidates without a sponsorship. The candidate must work on W-2 only; no C-2-C or third-party candidates are permitted. There are no employer involvements.

Job Summary

We are seeking a System Test Automation Engineer to support in-factory manufacturing processes, with a specific focus on optimizing and validating iOS installation and configuration on iPhones. This role requires strong technical skills in automation and validation, with the ability to work closely with QA, architecture, and factory operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test automation solutions for factory-level system testing and verification.
• Validate software deployment methods (e.g., USB, Wi-Fi) for in-factory iOS installation.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to configure and manage device racks and access points.
• Participate in cross-functional discussions on new project proposals and implementation strategies.
• Conduct manual and automated testing using frameworks such as XCTest.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software integration issues in a production-like environment.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the XCTest framework for iOS automation.
• Experience working in factory test environments or hardware/software production validation.
• Strong technical acumen and comfort with experimental software deployment techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering and QA teams.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
