Our client, a large government integrator located in Longmont, CO, is looking to hire a Software Engineer for a 12-month hybrid contract role. The consultant will work a four day schedule of 10 hour days (Monday through Thursday) with Mondays and Wednesdays onsite in the office.

The consultant will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities. The consultant will design, develop, document, test, and debug software as well as apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in software development experience
• Top 3 skill requirements: Java, Microservices knowledge, and problem-solving ability
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Background experience with software quality or automation
• Candidate will be experienced in C++, Qt framework (GUI), pub/sub messaging, PostgreSQL,
• Experience in Linux environments with Ansible Scripting

• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline, distributed systems, machine learning and multi-threaded applications is a plus.
