Job Title: Software Dev Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302

Duration: 10 Months Contract (Potential Temp to Perm)

Payrate: $60/hr. - $70/hr. (depending on experience)

Shift: 1st shift

Basic qualifications:

3 years of experience Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design and Internship software development experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Experience in optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
• Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.
• Candidates should be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Candidate should have minimum 4 - 5 years of professional work experience
• Team is mainly focused on Java & Python programming, and they use serverless database
• Experience with AWS cloud is highly desirable, or any other cloud is also preferred.
• Someone has experience with microservices deployed on the cloud, utilizing serverless architecture or similar technologies.
• Most of the architecture they build based on microservices, but it's deployed in the cloud, so it's not like traditional on-premise solutions
• Candidates need to have at least 1 or 2 years of experience working with large codebases.
