Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Analyst with a strong background in Software Development or Test Engineering. The ideal candidate will have robust Java expertise, extensive experience in API and microservices testing, and proven capabilities in building and maintaining QA frameworks from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Software Development or Test Engineering activities with a focus on Java-based technologies.
• Conduct testing of APIs, microservices, and databases.
• Design, build, and maintain QA frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and WebDriver.
• Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure code coverage.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement major components for large projects.
• Work professionally in scalable web services environments, preferably with exposure to containerized microservices architectures.
• Collaborate closely with Agile teams and contribute to all phases of the Agile process.
• Maintain and promote QA best practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Support Disaster Recovery methodologies and contribute to resilience planning (preferred).
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk, Keynote, or Grafana (preferred).

Essential Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development or Test Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Java development and testing.
• Proficient in API testing, microservices testing, and database validation.
• Proven experience in building QA automation frameworks with Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and WebDriver.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and code coverage tools.
• Deep understanding of scalable web service architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with containerized microservices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery planning and practices.
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Keynote, and Grafana.
• Expertise in SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) methodologies.
