Job Description Summary

We deliver the core applications that Property and Casualty (P/C) insurers use to build their products, sell policies, settle claims, and bill their customers. We deliver SaaS solutions via Guidewire Cloud that enable our customers to rapidly innovate and drive measurable value.

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer III(Golang) to join our dynamic team and build high-performance, scalable applications. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems using Go (Golang) while leveraging modern cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-performance Golang applications with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Design and implement Microservices architectures using Go.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes & Docker.
• Build efficient, reusable, and scalable solutions for backend services and APIs.
• Experience in Kubernetes is mandatory
• Implement best practices in Data Structures, Multithreading, and Design Patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible for deployment automation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Golang.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a team-first attitude.
