Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin or Python), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to support global teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience developing Mobile applications.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of engineers to build scalable infrastructure and solutions that integrate across various Google services.

You'll play a key role in developing the core infrastructure that manages the users. This includes building the integration pathways for clients solutions and empowering Kids and Families to address critical regulatory requirements.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement core infrastructure and innovative solutions enabling Google to create engaging and compliant experiences for kids and families.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, UX, and QA teams to drive the delivery of product launches.
  • Contribute to and own critical components within the established global team ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
