About the Role We are hiring a Software Engineer II to help build and operate secure, reliable internal tools at Slack. You'll help steward tools that act as the gateway to Slack's most critical internal operations, requiring precision, trust, and a commitment to secure engineering practices. This is a highly critical and visible role, where the tools you build will be used daily by hundreds of Slack engineers and support agents. You will contribute to systems that help Slack engineers and support staff resolve issues quickly, safely, and with confidence. As a Software Engineer II, you will work closely with senior engineers and partner teams. You'll write high-quality, maintainable code and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence focused on reliability, observability, and security.
