About the Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer with a strong background in Java/Scala, Angular, and modern backend technologies to join our team and work on innovative, scalable systems. You’ll be part of a motivated Agile team where collaboration, performance, and user-focused delivery are key.

Your Responsibilities

🔹 Design software architecture, data structures, and algorithms alongside fellow engineers

🔹 Analyze customer needs and translate them into clear technical specifications

🔹 Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on specs

🔹 Integrate software components and third-party systems

🔹 Test, debug, and deploy applications across environments

🔹 Maintain and improve existing applications

🔹 Gather and evaluate user feedback to drive technical improvements

🔹 Prepare technical documentation for internal and external reference

Your Profile

🎓 You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

✅ Proven experience with:

• Java / Scala (Play Framework, Akka)

• Angular

• Kafka, Zookeeper, MongoDB, Git

• REST API design and integration

🔄 Experienced working in Agile/Scrum environments

💡 Proactive, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset

📣 Strong communicator with a collaborative team spirit

💪 Stress-resistant and resilient, capable of working both independently and in teams

🌍 Fluent in French and/or Dutch with a good command of English
