Salary: Total first year package up to 160k! (Base + bonus + stocks)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development and experience with Perl or PHP. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients while fostering innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Perl and PHP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in existing applications.
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Engineering OR Bachelor's degree in engineering plus 2 yrs work experience in s/w development
- Proficiency in Perl or PHP.
Nice To Have But NOT Essential
- XML, XHTML, SQL, MySQL and Postgres (or similar) nice to have but not essential.
- Docker, containers or virtualization nice to have not essential
- Diverse build environments for ARM/x86 architectures
