Reporting to project manager or associate manager, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:
Carry out project implementations, continuous enhancements and support Customer Facing Digital Channels for Mobile application
Assist with business case development. Evaluate technical feasibility and resource requirements for IT projects
Gather and analyze user requirements, identifying solution alternatives. Translate business requirements and business processes into technical design
Lead and deliver small and medium sized projects. Drive system design, participate and monitor development and project implementation activities, conduct quality assurance and prepare project documentations
Coordinate and communicate effectively with users, contractors and vendors to ensure adequate understanding of business requirements, and follow up during and after the software development cycle to ensure applications developed are able to meet the business requirements
Requirements
A recognized University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
At least 5 recent years of experience in developing or supporting customer facing application.
Hands-on experience of developing IOS in swift, using xCode, MVVM model and integration with API(JSON) in recent 4 years would be a definite advantage.
Knowledge or hands on experience of Kotlin in AOS in recent 4 years would be a definite advantage.
Experience in source control platform is a must, experience in Microsoft App Center, Azure DevOps(Git and Yaml) would definitely be an advantage.
Knowledge or hands on experience in Java, J2EE, spring boot, Microservices would be a definite advantage
Knowledge or hands on experience in Adobe Experience Manage (AEM) would be a definite advantage
Knowledge of Web platform, agile software development methodology, Azure, and experience / knowledge in design thinking is highly preferable
Good understanding of project work plan and appreciation of the need to meet project deadlines, able to work under pressure and meet tight timeline
Self-initiative, embrace change, creative and innovative with good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Good presentation, documentation and report writing skill
Good spoken and written English
Willing to travel and accept short-term overseas assignment as and when required
Candidates with less experience will be considered as IT Analyst
