Summary: Delta Search Labs in Cambridge, MA invites application for a permanent position of Software Engineer. We are looking for a self-motivated person with experience in implementing numerical analysis methodologies, scientific programming and high performance computing. Applicant must be creative, inventive, cooperative and self-motivated. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Qualifications: MS in Computer Science or Engineering with 4+ years related working experience in commercials software product development (the software products should be of a scientific or technical nature), experience in all phases of software engineering lifecycle desirable. Knowledge of applied mathematics, numerical methods, data structures, parallel algorithms and methods for scientific computing. C/C++, Java, Perl, Matlab programming skills, Linux/ UNIX/Windows OS. Knowledge of computational geometry and CAD file conversion between various formats desirable. Experience with GUIs and Visualization libraries desirable. Prefer either US citizens or permanent residents.
