Our client, an important Asset Manager in Geneva is looking to hire a Junior Software Engineer with an expertise on Python to join the IT and Research Team. The exposure is worldwide even if the job is based in Geneva. This is a rare opportunity to grow into a fastpaced environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Help in developping new lines of business solutions using Python, C#, Excel and Relational Databases
• Support senior staff in designing and implementing complete solutions for the Front office/risk systems.
• Provide support for in-house and 3rd party applications
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Master in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or Engineering
• 1 to 3 years of experience in object-oriented development, preferably with Python (using common programming design patterns and good practices)
• 1 to 3 years of experience in databases and SQL experience, data modeling, and database design. Excel strong knowledge is a prerequisite.
• Experience with Python Data Stack (Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep interest in financial trading industry
