What are we looking for?
Wallbox is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Python to join their Automation and Test Solutions team. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing the end-to-end quality of Wallbox's comprehensive ecosystem, which includes backend systems, front-end interfaces, mobile applications (both iOS and Android), and the core electric vehicle (EV) chargers.
A key responsibility for this position is the design of a robust software architecture adhering to SOLID principles. This ensures the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
The Software Engineer will operate within a cross-functional team environment. This collaborative setting involves working closely with other software and electronics engineers, as well as the product team. This interaction is crucial for understanding user requirements, providing effective technical solutions, and strategically assessing and prioritizing feature requests. Furthermore, the role involves enhancing the functionality of existing systems, indicating a need for both new development and continuous improvement.
In essence, this Software Engineer will play a critical role in the development and upkeep of automated testing solutions, directly impacting the reliability and performance of Wallbox's innovative charging technologies.
Requirements Must-have Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Python programming.
- Strong experience in Software Configuration Management
- Autonomous configuring CI/CD frameworks e.g. Gitlab
- Team spirit
- Problem-solved oriented
- Attention to detail and quality
- Fluent in English
Nice-to-have requirements:
- Agile Development methodologies
- Experience working with AWS based infrastructure
- Familiarity with testing tools
- Knowledge of some Python related frameworks e.g. Django and Flask
- Experience in concurrent computing
- Linux system administration
- JavaScript frameworks e.g. Angular, React, Node
