As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a team of talented SDEs focused on building products & solutions to solve customer problems. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in design, development, test, and deployment, at the same time uphold the bar on Operational Excellence.
Basic Qualifications
2 + years of engineering experience
2+ years of engineering team management experience
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/ hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Experience designing or architecting design patterns, reliability and scaling processes.
Candidates will need to think outside the box to quickly come up with innovative solutions to problems. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing real time scalable systems, a strong technical ability, excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
