Your Role & Responsibilities
Translate defined project features into functional test plans and automated test cases
Design, develop, and execute functional, end-to-end, and integration tests
Automate UI and backend/API testing across multiple client projects
Use tools like Cypress, Protractor, Playwright, and JMeter for automation
Collaborate with developers to ensure code is testable and high-quality
Maintain version-controlled test code in Git and support CI/CD integration
Provide technical insight to help mature QA practices and frameworks
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
Experience writing and executing test plans, and building automated test coverage
Hands-on automation experience with tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Protractor, or JMeter
Development experience with Java, .NET/C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript
API and endpoint automation testing experience using Java or .NET/C#
Familiarity with Git for source control and workflow
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit, MSTest, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine, or Karma
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with Azure DevOps or TFS (Test Suites, Pipelines, Build/Release)
Understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) principles
Background in performance/load testing or mock frameworks
Experience in DevOps or CI/CD pipeline automation
Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or experience in an SDET role
Education & Certifications You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years of test automation or software development experience OR Associate’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
Experience with Windows and Unix operating systems
Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, VBScript, or Perl
