Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design. The work model for the role is: This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Design and implement automated test frameworks, optimize software quality, and enhance reliability through efficient validation techniques.
- Utilize AI/ML for intelligent test automation, including defect prediction, self-healing scripts, and anomaly detection.
- Automate validation workflows, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure scalable execution using modern DevOps tools.
- Contribute to software development by debugging, optimizing performance-critical components, and ensuring testability in code reviews.
- Conduct simulation, emulation, and digital twin testing for AI/robotics systems, validating models across real and simulated environments.
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and C# (.NET Core).
- Expertise in test automation frameworks, test-driven development, and software validation methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and virtualization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, and Hyper-V.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a focus on optimizing test strategies.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for on-site collaboration with product teams.
