Our client’s project is a well-established brand in the Information Technology industry who is now looking for a passionate and driven Software Developer/Software Programmer position. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your skill set, achieve job satisfaction and work-life balance.
Job Description:
Development - small and medium sized development efforts
1.Prepare design document for development, including mappings to integrate data from various systems.
2.Design, customize and implement ETL jobs.
3.Perform application testing and data validation on configurations and customizations.
4.Ensure compliance to IT standards, SDLC standards, policies, and procedures.
5.Migrate code by creating migration worksheet.
Deployment
1.Work with the relevant parties to develop hosting infrastructure and services. This includesresolving any hosting or deployment related issues with agreed SLA.
2.Deploy software and related updates for production, testing and development environments.Provide assistance during software testing and preparation of relevant documentations.
3.Design, develop and modify script and monitoring once deployment completed
4.Create and maintain detailed documentation on services
BAU Support.
1.Ensure data ingestion and processing activities are completed as per agreed Service levels.
2.Perform System health-check and ensure all detected performance anomalies are proactivelyaddress on a timely manner.
3.Deploy appropriate process and system alerts to ensure platform performance is effectivelymonitored. Find gaps in the existing processes, constantly improve the processes/procedures,establish robust alerts, automate manual task and provide stability to the application(including Troubleshooting and correcting existing ETL solutions
4.Provide Level 1- 3 support to address failures in production, disaster recovery, development,SIT and UAT environments. This includes resolving issues encounter during daily processes,follow-up with respective stakeholders on non-receipt / delay of scheduled files, ensurejobs/software version in all environments are similar, optimise platform processing andmanage stakeholders.
5.Work closely with users to ensure reported issues via incidents, problem tickets etc registeredwith the bank's tracking system is investigated, resolved and closed within a specified timelymanner.
6.Analysing data discrepancies, find root cause, make code changes (approved by supervisor},testing, implementing solution etc. Ensure issues are identified are reported/registered,tracked and closed within a timely manner.
7.Oversee the successful deployment of patches for SW, OS & DB. This includes resolving issuesdetected pre and post deployment within agreed times.
8.Oversee change management related to OS/ HW/ SW. Prepare the necessary documents,participate in RFC and change advisory board processes.
