Summary

Join the Continuous Integration team of a high-tech company in the semiconductor industry and be an important part of the transition to the build and deployment architecture of the future.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain CI pipelines in Jenkins
  • Implement and maintain a state-of-the-art container build and deployment system
  • Build and Test C++ and Python projects while integrating developer toolchains
  • Install and configure Linux-based operating systems and Open Source solutions
  • Perform comprehensive system testing with highly specialized hardware
  • Build and deliver third-party packages, containers and stacks
  • Continuously improve efficiency of Pipeline resource usage and reliability
  • Provide support to developers facing issues with CI Pipelines
  • Monitor Pod Health and Logs
  • Maintain Ressource Usage Limits

Your Qualifications

  • Graduation from a Higher Technical Institute (HTL) or a university degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development, DevOps, Software Architecture or IT
  • Working knowledge of Groovy or similar programming language (Java)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Linux knowledge and willingness to work with Linux as only operating system
  • Interest in or knowledge of the following advanced concepts: continuous integration and delivery (Jenkins, Argo, GitLab CI), package repositories (Nexus, Pulp), monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana), virtualization (Xen, Libvirt/KVM), storage systems (NFS, S3)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm is beneficial
  • Hands-on knowledge of network, server administration and shell scripting is beneficial
  • Interest in solving problems programmatically
  • Accurate and structured working approach
  • Open communication and teamwork skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
