Overview:

The Mid-Level Developer (Connections Area) will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered applications and services, primarily using Java. This role requires a solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, experience with AI frameworks and libraries, and strong Java development skills. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and maintain technical documentation.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop AI/ML models and algorithms, ensuring seamless integration into existing applications.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and APIs.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to analyze project requirements and develop efficient software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following established best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.
• Assist in the assessment and implementation of software features and enhancements.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, identifying and implementing solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to AI/ML models and Java applications.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation related to AI models and software components.
• Stay updated on AI/ML technologies, assessing new frameworks and proposing enhancements where applicable.
• Contribute to research and innovation projects related to technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java, Python, or C++).
• Experience in object-oriented programming.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., NLP, Deep Learning).
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and data processing techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Experience with RESTful API design principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
