CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers integrates the development tools for the DSC architecture into a single product based on the Eclipse open development platform. Eclipse offers an excellent framework for building software development environments and is a standard framework used by many embedded software vendors.

As Software developer within CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers team, you will work closely with the existing team to design, develop and test various components and functionalities of the product. 

Responsibilities:

To develop support for NXP Evaluation Platforms and Processors in the Debugger by: 

·      Enabling debug support on NXP platforms 

·      Planning, designing and implementing support for new boards and processors, considering customers' needs and following development process specifications 

·      Working closely and providing feedback to software development peers and other teams 

·      Developing solutions for automated validation of the software components

Your profile

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics
• Experience with C and C++:
• Experience with hardware architectures; basic understanding of embedded platforms
• Familiar with flash memory programming
• Knowledge of a scripting programming language (such as Phyton/Perl), version control systems (such as GIT);
• Understanding of how compiler/debugger/build system work
• Fluency in written and spoken English
