We are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) for simulator applications in the field of energy technology at the Erlangen location as soon as possible. The position is to be filled within the framework of a 35-hour week.

The following challenges await you as a Software Developer (m/f/d) Simulator Applications:

• Implementation of control and process engineering requirements in simulators
• Adaptation of project-specific TXS applications to customer-specific simulators
• Development of new simulator models for modernization projects
• Processing of quotation requests and preparation of quotation texts and calculations
• Carrying out commissioning of simulator applications at the customer's premises
• Close coordination with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality and customer requirements
  
  

Your Profile

• You have a degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, computer science or a comparable field of study
• You have in-depth experience with the TXS Space Core software and the spacedb Python interface
• You have in-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and the use of virtual machines (VMware)
• You have practical user knowledge of Linux
• You are proficient in programming languages such as LabVIEW, Grafana, Python, PyQT and/or C
• Ideally, you are also familiar with C compilers such as GCC and Visual Studio and have experience in creating and customizing makefiles
• A good command of English and fluent German round off your profile
