i3 is offering a part-time Summer 2025 internship position within our Army Training Solutions business unit. This candidate will be exposed to the development of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) within an Agile software development environment. This candidate will interact with Instructional Systems Designers (ISD), 3D Artists, Software Developers, Designers, and Program Managers in support of DOD training development.

This internship will be for the duration of the summer period. The candidate will work with Agile software development teams in creating IMI for DOD customers using commercial game engines.

Education, Experience and Required skills

• High school diploma required
• Candidate must have completed at least 2 years of higher education, job experience can be substituted for education
• Candidate must be currently enrolled in (Summer 2025) or continuing a undergraduate or graduate degree program the following semester (Fall 2025) at the time of the internship.
• Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn
  
  
  

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Prefer experience with Unity gaming engine
• Prefer understanding of Agile software development
• Familiarity with GIT for software source control and configuration management
• Familiarity with 3D graphics programming DirectX, OpenGL, etc.
• Experience with C#, C, or C++ is a plus
• Coursework or working knowledge of linear algebra is a plus
