Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible as a member of an in-house team of developers to meet the increasingly specific and varied technology requirements of the business. * Work as a member of a small, multi-functional development team. * Develop high quality applications and reporting systems. * Communicate with Red Roof business users to improve in-house software. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Two or Four-year university degree or technical school diploma in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, and/or 3+ years equivalent work experience. * Knowledge of current IT protocols and standards. * Experience in developing applications that will meet business objectives. * Self-motivated and self-directed. Attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong end-user customer service orientation. * Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. * Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. * Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft O365 and Teams. * Must have knowledge and 3+ years of experience working with: * JavaScript * HTML * General programming design pattern * Transact-SQL * Familiarity with Node.js, Angular.JS, or React.JS. * Pluses include experience in Agile development methodology, Bootstrap, financial or accounting systems. * Less than 10% travel.
