Role Overview

We’re hiring a software engineer capable of leveraging AI tools to accelerate backend and API development. You’ll be expected to work independently, use IDEs effectively, and build modular, testable systems. This role is ideal for someone experienced in microservices who’s ready to work faster and smarter using AI as an integrated part of their workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modular microservices and REST APIs
• Use AI tools to generate, refactor, and test code
• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and well-documented
• Integrate external APIs and internal data systems
• Own features end-to-end, from planning to deployment
• Collaborate with a small team (mostly AI-driven workflows)

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go
• Experience building and deploying microservices
• Strong understanding of REST architecture and API design
• Familiarity with automated testing and version control (Git)
• Ability to read and adapt AI-generated code
• Clear communication, independence, and accountability

Preferred Experience

• Experience with AI dev tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and Prompt Engineering
