Your tasks as a software developer for sonar systems (m/f/d)

• Your area of responsibility is the independent development of software components for sonar systems.
• You will analyze requirements for sonar functions, design corresponding software components and implement them for our sonar systems.
• You conceptualize algorithms and evaluate their applicability for use in the software components and are also responsible for creating specifications, design and test descriptions.
• You are responsible for testing the software components and analyzing errors in the target system.
• You will also maintain existing software components and implement your own ideas for redesigning them.
• You present your results to different target groups as part of the system development process.
• You monitor technological trends and play a key role in implementing them in the company.

Software developer - Your profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, mathematics or physics
• You have already gained some professional experience in software development - clean code and software craftsmanship are no foreign words, you enjoy writing tests just as much as production code
• You have sound knowledge of object-oriented software development with modern C++ and have initial experience in the areas of design, testing, build (cmake) and/or continuous integration of software (CI/CD), preferably with GitLab
• You are adept at implementing mathematical algorithms in efficient software and ideally already have some experience in digital signal processing or sonar processing (e.g. FFT, FTR)
• The ability to work quickly, in a structured manner and with agile methods characterizes you
• You impress with your ability to work in a team, high sense of responsibility and flexibility
• Good written and spoken German and English are a matter of course for you
