Saxon Aerospace is looking for senior-level Development Operations Software Platform Engineer. In this role, you will specialize in the design and development of automated container platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud-ready application architectures. You will learn to design and guide implementations of Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure projects to include container and virtualization technologies Responsibilities * Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, and high availability and system resilience * Learn new technologies quickly, including container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks * Travel frequently to work alongside leading financial services, retail, telecommunication, and institutional customers Required Skills and Qualifications * Extensive experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4. * Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies. * Proven experience in technical oversight and project management. * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to manage technical scope and adjust as necessary. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Experience working with Red Hat Customer Experience and Engagement (CEE). * Ability to conduct workshops and mentoring sessions * Application development experience. * Experience with other container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker). * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). * Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins). * Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies. Certification in Red Hat technology * Relevant certifications in Red Hat OpenShift or related technologies. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Pay: $47/Hr.
