Role & Responsibilities

Our client’s development teams deliver value to end-users via both desktop and web-based applications, using Microsoft C++/.NET and React respectively. Their analytics services are built on Java Web Services, integrating with both RDBMS and Solr Text Index technologies. The entire stack is deployable in a containerised cloud environment, offering clients rapid time-to-value.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven experience in C# desktop application development.
• Strong understanding and application of unit testing.
• Experience creating and maintaining user stories.
• Experience working within multi-functional, Agile teams.
• Demonstrated involvement in the design and development of desktop applications.
• Ability to independently set and meet realistic development milestones.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to clearly present and explain technical concepts and ideas.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Comfortable working both independently and in collaborative team environments.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and process improvement.
• Experience with MFC and COM is a plus.
• Familiarity with .NET/JavaScript interoperability and RESTful services is desirable.
