Description

SAIC is currently hiring a Software Configuration Team Manager to support the RITS program.

Primary responsibility for this position is managing the RITS Software License Management Team to support the needs of the business.

Job Duties

• Implements, monitors, evaluates, and verifies corrective and/or preventive actions to address team performance issues in a virtual environment
• Develop, negotiate, baseline, and monitor progress using agreed-upon performance metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Manages the team’s work queue to ensure compliance with approved performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs
• Reviews, oversees, and approves updated standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure license management and contract management activities are performed consistently
• Provides input to RITS Project Management Office (PMO) Technical Direction Plan (TDP)/Technical Direction Letter (TDL) planning to ensure licensing and Software Lifecycle Management processes are addressed
• Collaborates with other RITS teams, contractors, and Government to identify opportunities for data quality and process improvements
• Extensive experience with software asset management best practices with a focus on license compliance and data management
• Understanding of both ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), SAM Professional, and Contract Module; as well as Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite
• Familiarity with government purchasing activities
• Familiarity with IT Asset Management best practices
  
  

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelors and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
  
  

Required Security Clearance

• Must have an active secret clearance
  
  

Required Certifications

• IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager
  
  

Target salary range $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
