The Sr. Automation Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather and analyze project requirements. * Design scalable, flexible, and efficient automation solutions tailored to specific business needs. * Develop and oversee the implementation of system integrations, ensuring robust and seamless data flow between platforms. * Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and redundancies in workflows and design optimized solutions. * Create customized automation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. * Perform rigorous testing and validation of automation processes to ensure they function as intended. * Develop, debug, and maintain Bash, Batch, and PowerShell scripts to address customer/project-specific automation needs. * Integrate automation scripts with third-party tools, APIs, and cloud platforms to facilitate data synchronization and process automation. * Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues post-deployment, ensuring minimal downtime. * Manage the deployment of custom configurations across large user bases or multiple environments, ensuring consistency and minimizing errors. Technical Skills & Knowledge Networking & System Administration: * Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP. * Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools such as Ping, Traceroute, Wireshark, and NetFlow. * Experience diagnosing and resolving network issues such as slow connectivity, hardware failures, and configuration errors. * Minimum 5 years experience preferred. Education & Certifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Preferred certifications: CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or similar.
