For our client, an international technology company, we are looking for a Software Automation Engineer to join their team in Halle. You will be part of a team of 11 people, working closely with 4 of them.

The company operates in sectors such as machine construction, factory automation, and the process industry. They focus on sustainability, with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency and environmentally friendly solutions.

• Develop software in .NET and PLC programming for their proprietary machines. The projects are often large-scale and impactful, offering both challenges and motivation.
• Enhance existing software applications to meet the latest requirements, updating them to the newest frameworks.
• Develop new features based on client-specific requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in the production environment.
• Actively contribute ideas for potential improvements.

Profiel

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in ICT or Engineering.
• You have strong experience in .NET, backed by one or more professional experiences.
• Experience in PLC programming is required; experience with TIA Portal and Siemens Step7 is a plus.
• You have experience with SQL databases.
• You are highly interested in automation and industrial environments.
• You are willing to travel occasionally (up to 8 weeks/year). If this is not possible, this can be discussed, and your colleagues may cover for you when needed.
