• Minimum 4 years’ experience in SAM

• Cloud licensing knowledge (AWS, GCP)

Roles/ responsibilities

• Answering Tier 1 Licensing Knowledge queries (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, RedHat and SUSE)
• Producing ELPs regularly to maximize ROI and drive cost optimization
• Leading vendor audits and representing the organization in a professional manner
• Analyzing and understanding usage for key Engineering applications (Siemens, Dassault and MathWorks)
• Ensuring software license entitlement information is loaded accurately and clauses are fully understood
• Working with Snow License Manager and Snow for Engineering daily
• Act as a subject matter expert for all software licensing across the organization
• Responsible for operating and maintaining SAM policies, process and standards
• Being able to influence Senior Management through SAM best practice
• Attending and representing SAM at various governance forums
• Reviewing complex licensing terms and contracts
• Contributing to an ongoing reduction of risk through reducing renewal costs, identifying cost saving opportunities and providing an insight into license utilization and spend.
