Mission

Lead the design and implementation of modern software architectures that meet rigorous client requirements in high-tech domains. As Software Architect, you will define system-level approaches, guide technical decision-making, and collaborate with global teams to develop cutting-edge software applications for medical and semiconductor environments.


Responsibilities

Software Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Define and implement robust and scalable software architectures based on customer specifications.
  • Drive architectural decisions and ensure alignment with performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a technical leader within dynamic development teams, mentoring engineers and supporting software design reviews.


End-to-End Development & Collaboration

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements engineering, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Apply industry best practices and modern software design methodologies, including modular and cloud-based architectures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams across hardware, systems, and software engineering.


Innovation & Industry Engagement

  • Contribute to the evolution of architecture standards and design practices within the company.
  • Represent the technical team in client meetings and international business trips (25–50% travel expected).
  • Engage in knowledge exchange, both internally and with clients, to continuously advance engineering quality.


Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in software application development, ideally in the medical or semiconductor sectors.
  • Strong command of C# and/or C++, with experience in modern architecture patterns and cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, design principles, and requirement engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with testing and software documentation in regulated or quality-driven environments.
  • Analytical mindset, structured working style, and initiative for continuous learning and development.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work with multinational project teams.
