Contribution within the development of safety critical embedded real time aircraft systems:

• Software development for application software and low level hardware drivers
• Definition software architecture for aviation systems
• Software specification in high and low-level requirements
• Selection and Maintenance of software and hardware tools
  
  

Profile

Graduate software engineer (or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired by other means) with experience in the fields of:

Required Skills And Experience

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, information technology or a comparable field of study
• Proficiency in the programming languages C and/ or assembler, o Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with software and hardware development tools, such as GCC, Eclipse, GNU make, Lauterbach Trace32, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols, such as UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet and CAN
• Fluency in English for everyday work, additionally knowledge in German and French is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
  

Additional Beneficial Skills

• Practical experience with Power Architecture microcontrollers is beneficial
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and hardware datasheets
• Knowledge in ADA programming
• Familiarity with real-time systems and embedded systems programming is Familiarity with avionic software development standard RTCA/DO-178C
