The Boeing Aviation Data Solutions team is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test to develop and sustain a portion of an aviation data management system that will provide data through APIs for consumption by internal and external customers. The successful candidate will drive the daily execution of product development in a fast-paced agile environment. We seek candidates who have skills in agile methodologies, devops, software development and test automation. As a member of the ADS team, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from idea creation and development, to maintenance and support of the customer's delivered system. Position Responsibilities: Utilize tools such as Python to automate testing Participate in agile development within a cross-discipline, global team Continuous integration, testing, and delivery within a CI/CD pipeline Decompose complex requirements and capabilities into executable discrete user stories Develops test procedures, and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan Manages test documentation including generation of test plans, preparation of test reports and archival of data and reports as required Reviews standards and regulations to assess the impact on the test plan Reviews software design and architecture documentation Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Must have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree 7+ years of experience working in a professional environment 4+ years of development experience using Python Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies Relational database experience, e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle Experience developing software products in a cloud computing environment e.g. Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with ETL testing Experience working with a testing framework e.g. pytest, unittest, robot framework Experience with Kubernetes and Docker Experience with NoSQL databases e.g. MongoDB Experience using a lifecycle management tool such as ALM Experience with Git Understanding of software integration and end to end testing methodologies Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
