Prashast as a brand has a larger focus and purpose around handicraft manufacturing, e-commerce promotion & management, dealing in farm & non-farm products, and providing other services like training & assessments, content development, etc.
Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing Manager to oversee our brand's presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging content strategies, building and maintaining our online community, and leveraging social media to promote our mission and drive sales.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales on platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter (and others, as relevant).
Content Creation: Create compelling and visually appealing content, including posts, videos, and graphics, that showcase our products and artisans' stories.
Community Management: Build and nurture a strong online community by engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful interactions.
Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers, bloggers, and content creators to amplify our brand message and reach new audiences.
Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive traffic to our website and increase sales.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics and performance, analyze data to identify trends and insights, and prepare regular reports to track progress and optimize strategies.
Brand Advocacy: Cultivate brand advocates and ambassadors among our followers and customers, encouraging user-generated content and positive word-of-mouth.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align social media efforts with overall business objectives and initiatives.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, social media best practices, and platform updates, and incorporate new features and strategies into our social media activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Proven experience in social media marketing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns and community engagement.
In-depth knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and such platforms, algorithms, and trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and creating engaging content.
Creative thinking and a passion for visual aesthetics, with proficiency in graphic design tools and photo/video editing software.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions and optimizations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Experience in the handicrafts or retail industry is a plus.
Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
