We’re looking for a talented and passionate Social Media Manager to join our growing team. This is a part-time role based in our Manly office, 3 days per week.
The Role:You’ll be the day-to-day lead on several of our key client social media accounts. You’ll help shape and execute creative, sport-first social strategies that drive engagement, build communities, and make noise online. This role is ideal for someone who loves sport, knows what performs on social, and thrives in a fast-moving creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:-Manage the end-to-end delivery of social content across multiple client accounts (with a heavy sports focus).-Develop and implement content plans in line with brand prioritise and strategies.-Work closely with creatives, strategists, and account teams to plan and publish organic social content.-Assist in the development of social-first campaign ideas and always-on content calendars.-Monitor trends and conversations in sport and social to keep our work culturally relevant.-Manage paid social campaigns, including boosting, targeting, and basic reporting.-Lead community management, including moderation, engagement, and tone of voice development-Brief and direct designers, editors, and creators as needed.-Report on social performance and provide actionable insights.
Who You Are:-You live and breathe social media — from Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and TikTok to X and LinkedIn.-You’re obsessed with sport and have a deep understanding of fan culture.-You’re creative, proactive, and full of ideas.-You’re comfortable with both content creation and performance metrics.-You’re a natural communicator with strong attention to detail.-You understand the balance between brand, creativity, and results.
Experience Required:-3+ years of experience in a social media role (rights holder, agency or brand-side)-Client Service and management skills-Proven experience running and growing social channels — with results to show-Experience with both organic and paid social-Influencer coordination or creator collaboration-Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout, Later, or Meta Business Suite)-Hands-on content creation (including caption writing, short-form video / reels , and simple design using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite)S-trong understanding of social trends, platform algorithms, and analytics-Experience working in or with the sports industry is a huge plus
