Job Summary:

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and increase brand loyalty across all social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fashion industry, a proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns, and exceptional leadership skills to guide and inspire a team.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies that align with the brand's overall marketing objectives and target audience within the fashion industry.
  • Manage and mentor a team of social media specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content, including photos, videos, stories, and reels, that reflects the brand's aesthetic and resonates with the fashion-conscious audience.
  • Maintain a strong brand voice and visual identity across all social media channels, ensuring consistency and coherence in messaging and branding.
  • Plan and manage social media calendars, ensuring timely and relevant content is posted across all platforms.
  • Monitor social media trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices in the fashion sector to identify new opportunities and optimize strategies.
  • Analyze social media data and metrics to track performance, measure the effectiveness of campaigns, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Manage social media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, e-commerce, and creative, to ensure integrated and cohesive campaigns.
  • Develop and manage relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other key stakeholders in the fashion industry to expand brand reach and influence.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in social media algorithms and best practices, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Manage community engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, and fostering a positive and interactive brand community.
  • Organize and manage social media events and promotions to drive engagement and brand awareness.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience managing social media for a fashion brand or within the fashion industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns that have driven significant results.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion industry, including trends, key players, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, SproutSocial) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in hiring, training, and mentoring social media professionals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • Excellent visual and aesthetic sense, with the ability to create and curate visually compelling content.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for fashion and a deep understanding of brand building in the digital space.
  • Experience with budget management.
  • Photography and video editing skills are a plus.
