The SMT Touch-Up & Rework Technician is responsible for performing various duties within the SMT assembly area in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
Precision Soldering on PCBAs
The Operator must be able to interpret drawings, bills of material, manuals and other work instructions.
Must work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries, this includes wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses.
Detects malfunctions of the assembly equipment through visual and audio ques.
Communicates with the Senior Technician and QC personnel to resolve quality issues.
Makes appropriate entries into Travelers, Time Standards and the Work Order Document Package.
Maintains traceability of product.
Preferred, But Not Required
2-Years experience Soldering Electronic Components for PCBAs
IPC 610 trained
JEDEC J-STD-001 trained
Extra IPC standards knowledge is a plus
Familiar with ESD / MSL requirements for components and PCB/PCBAs
