Job Description Ready to be part of a team that’s shaping the future of electronic manufacturing? We’re looking for a motivated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join our team and keep production running at peak performance. In this role, you will independently manage all SMT machinery, handle stencil printing, and perform component swaps. Your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations as you follow procedures, troubleshoot equipment issues, and thoroughly review documentation before each job. What You Will Do: Operate all SMT machinery independently, including handling stencil printing and component replacements. Follow standard operating procedures to maintain production efficiency. Communicate equipment issues and assist in identifying solutions to optimize production. Thoroughly review all job documentation before initiating equipment operations. Successfully pass the proficiency test to validate your knowledge and skills in SMT operations. Quickly adapt to changes in equipment, customer needs, and any other production requirements. What You Will Bring: High school diploma or equivalent education. Preferred: Familiarity with electronic part polarity, values, and component specifications. Basic math proficiency, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.). Meticulous attention to detail for maintaining precision in production tasks. What You Will Experience: Work is generally performed in a production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Work primarily conducted in a production environment. Regularly required to stand for extended periods. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as facemasks, gloves, and safety glasses, while on duty. Perform repetitive movements involving wrists, hands, and fingers. Frequently feel objects, grasp, push, or reach with hands and arms, including overhead reaching. Regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally handle items weighing up to 60 pounds throughout the day.
