See what we are about at www.snobahn.com SNÖBAHN – Indoor Ski + Snowboard is seeking Ski & Snowboard Instructors for its location in Centennial, Colorado and Thornton, Colorado (Feb 2024). Instructors will report directly to the General Manager. We are expanding, and this is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a new company with incredible growth potential. Instructors are responsible for: Managing the customer experience within the offered programs and services. Teaching, training, coaching ski and snowboard techniques in accordance with the SNÖBAHN policies and procedures. Operating revolving slope machinery safely and responsibly. Assisting at the café / bar as necessary. Education, Work Experience and Skill Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent - PSIA Certification (preferred). Experience in teaching, training, or coaching (mandatory). Customer Experience (1 year). Excellent verbal communication skills including both internal and external communication. High degree of organizational acumen. Assertiveness and confidence. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Strong people skills. Problem solving and creative thinking. Ability to work well with clients of all ages (children and adults). General enthusiasm about the ski and snowboard industry. Willingness to learn and follow teaching progressions. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone. Must be able to stand/walk for long durations. Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour (Once able to teach ski & board raise to $20/hr) Benefits: Employee discounts Paid time off Health Insurance for full-time employees.
