Summary

GEICO’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an SIU Information Analyst. The selected candidate will independently identify, search and analyze data from internal and external sources to identify potentially fraudulent claims, policies and trends. In addition, the candidate must be able to conduct nature and extent analysis, prepare recommendations based on findings in a detailed analytical case assessment or presentation for senior management and/or law enforcement, and develop proactive data queries to identify potentially fraudulent claims or policies.

  • Minimum of 2 year's experience working in insurance or financial services in an analyst role required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience analyzing fraud required.
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel and Power BI required.
  • Intermediate experience in SQL or SAS required.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Annual Salary

$29.51 - $57.49

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
