We are currently seeking a Sweeper Operator to join our team at our Carole Park Plant.
As a Sweeper Operator you will assist with the maintenance and site housekeeping standards, in particular the operation of Sweepers and Scrubbers to ensure hardstands, pathways and floor line markings are clean and visible across the plant at all times.
Ideally you will have experience and exposure within a manufacturing environment and be open to learning the necessary trade and skills to be successful.
The Role & About You
- Pre-start exercises prior to work commencing each day
- Attend L1 morning meetings
- Participation in site safety initiatives. Take 5’s, hazard reporting etc.
- Sweeper pre-start checklist daily
- Housekeeping duties – Clear debris such as broken timbers, fibre cement sheet from floor to ensure areas are clean and safe.
- Operation and basic maintenance of site sweepers and wet scrubbers
- Asist with other HMOS activities as required (painting, signs, moving items etc.
- Hold a valid Driver’s License
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to perform manual laboring around the plant as required.
- Hold a valid Forklift license, highly regarded while not essential.
- Manual handling of up to (20kgs)
- Be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
