We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join our team in Brussels. The candidate should be fluent in English and/or Dutch, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This will be a consultant contract in the beginning.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor, manage and handle on site engineering procedures, engineering quality related to all construction, fiber and measurement works plus EHS procedures run by the external EHS specialised company.
2. Carry out the on site engineering quality inspections, related to construction, fiber and measurement works. Report each time the site status and follow up with the Subcontractors on the resolution in the reported and/or escalated issues/problems.
3. Recognize and stop any nonstandard, unsafe or violating operation on site, report and record appropriately and request and follow the resolution from the Subcontractors.
4. Act as the main point of contact to the local municipalities, support the Subcontractors in municipality relations, monitor and manage the permit applications.
5. Support the Subcontractors in local negotiations for the RoW permits, where support required.
6. Communicate with customer, Subcontractors and residents to ensure the smooth project progress.
7. Support the Subcontractors in communication/discussions with the local residents in final LLD agreements relevant during the actual construction and excavations.
8. Record all the reports, track and collect on site documentation, meeting protocols with client, Subcontractors, authorities and internally, record and report the on site inspection documentation, manage the A1 documentation tool on demand.
