We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Safety Manager in the Construction industry to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about maintaining and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, health and safety audits, and safety equipment. They will also have a deep understanding of OSHA 510 and be certified in CPR.
The ideal Site Safety Manager is someone who is a lead or experienced site coordinator who can grow into a Management role or someone looking to gain more experience in leadership. The Site Safety Manager oversees one site versus various locations. The ideal Site Safety Manager has pharmaceutical experience, as well as experience in construction!

Responsibilities
As the Permanent Site Safety Manager - EHS, you will be responsible for the following
- Oversee and manage all aspects of safety and health at the construction site, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring immediate corrective action is taken.
- Develop, implement, and manage safety training programs for all employees, including OSHA 510 and CPR training.
- Maintain and manage all safety equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and adequate supplies are available.
- Investigate any accidents or incidents on the job site, determining cause and implementing preventive measures.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure safety protocols are integrated into project plans.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation, including incident reports, safety meeting minutes, and training records.
- Promote a culture of safety within the organization, encouraging employees to take ownership of their own safety and the safety of their peers.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in a management role.
- Certification in OSHA 510 and CPR.
- Proven experience conducting health and safety audits.
- Extensive knowledge of safety equipment and its proper use.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and promote a culture of safety.
- Ability to identify potential hazards and implement effective preventive measures.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Bachelor's degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, or a related field is preferred.
