Our Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) use software engineering patterns combined with systems expertise to help define, create, and support our architecture, and operations of our portfolio. Site Reliability Engineers are comprised of talented engineers that are focused on evangelizing reliability-as-a-feature through monitoring, service-level objectives, automation, everything-as-code, and testing. As an SRE, your mission is to use the proper application of technology to keep everything running reliably with minimal oversight. Our Site Reliability Engineers are at the heart of this work, working directly with the engineering teams from idea to launch to deliver reliable experiences. Responsibilities

• Expect to spend 50% time focusing on development and/or similar software engineering activities focused on automated data and service management.
• Apply “everything-as-code” methodologies across configuration, infrastructure, orchestration.
• Employ your systems knowledge to triage problems and tune resource usage
• Design and implement improvements to existing systems after reviewing past incidents.
• Help define the future of running services for our BaaS platform w\Kubernetes
• Being part of an on-call rotation to assist finding a resolution during incidents
• Help define and implement enhanced monitoring and logging solutions to improve observability and enable Service-Level Objectives
  
  

Requirements

• Experience working as a software engineer (5+ years) focused on product or feature development.
• Must be comfortable reading and writing code either C#/C++, Java, Python, Ruby, Rust, Erlang, etc.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Powershell, Bash, and/or Groovy.
• Experience with IAC/CM tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Salt)
• Comfortable with one or more cloud service provider offerings Azure, AWS, GCP
• Experience operating Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, or related technologies in a production environment
