RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility of the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is to ensure the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of production services while balancing development velocity. The role brings engineering principles into infrastructure and operations management, adopting software development practices such as version control, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Among the key activities the person will oversee or coordinate are:

  • Collecting and analyzing logs, metrics, and distributed traces
  • Detecting anomalies, service degradation, and bottlenecks in real time
  • Defining and monitoring indicators such as SLI, SLO, and SLA
  • Implementing strategies to increase service reliability and availability
  • Managing incidents, coordinating escalations, and communicating effectively during crises
  • Deploying and managing cloud services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, security)
  • Designing resilient and scalable systems
  • Performing load testing and performance tuning
  • Managing sustainable service growth
  • Automating delivery pipelines
  • Applying progressive deployment strategies such as canary releases, blue/green deployments, and automatic rollbacks in case of failure
  • Defining and versioning infrastructure using code
  • Automating the provisioning and management of complex environments in a declarative manner

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels: peer reviews, clear and effective communication, reporting to C-level
  • Well-organized and structured in planning
  • Passionate about technical innovation and continuous learning

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Background in DevOps
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (required to collaborate with international tech teams and representatives from other countries)

Technical Environment

  • Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Google Cloud Monitoring, OpenTelemetry
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud - (experience with at least one is required)
  • Languages: Python, Bash, Go (Nice to Have)
  • CI/CD: Flux CD, GitHub Actions
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Terraform, Ansible
  • Secrets Management: Vault, GCP Secret Manager

Contract Type: Permanent Employment

Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week over 5 days

Remote Work: 2 days per week after the onboarding period
