We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing team in building Nimbly’s global vision.

Responsibilities

Cloud Platforms

• Build and maintain systems on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, App Engine, Compute Engine, Firebase).
• Work with AWS services like Lambda, Fargate, and EC2 to create scalable infrastructure.

Containers and Automation

• Develop and manage Docker environments to support consistent deployments.
• Automate deployments and workflows with GitHub Actions.
• Set up ChatOps with Discord to improve team efficiency.

Databases

• Manage and optimize Redis, MongoDB, and Atlas for performance and reliability.

Mobile Pipelines

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps using React Native and Expo.

Custom Infrastructure Tools

• Create custom Terraform providers to address unique challenges in infrastructure.

Mentorship and Best Practices

• Mentor developers on error handling, logging, and tracing.
• Share best practices to improve team performance and system reliability.

AI and Innovation

• Use AI tools to streamline processes and make day-to-day work more efficient.

Qualifications

You’re a self-motivated Site Reliability Engineer who enjoys working remotely and collaborating with a global team. You’re a great fit if:

• You have experience working with GCP and AWS platforms.
• You have 8+ years of experience as Site Reability Engineer.
• You’re skilled with Docker and containerized workflows.
• You’ve managed Redis, MongoDB, and Atlas databases.
• You know how to set up mobile app CI/CD pipelines (React Native, Expo).
• You can automate and optimize complex workflows using tools like GitHub Actions.
• You’re comfortable working on projects that start with little documentation.
• You enjoy mentoring others and sharing your knowledge.
• You’re curious about using AI to solve real-world problems.
